Work experience:

From 1986 to 1999,Taught at Henan University. Has served as teaching assistant, lecturer, and associate professor before transferring to the Institute of Contemporary China as an associate researcher.

In 2006, she was appointed as a researcher of the Contemporary China Institute.

In 2010, she was appointed as a doctoral supervisor in the Department of National History of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Research interests:

•The history of the People's Republic of China, The history of contemporary Chinese water conservancy,The history of contemporary China's economy, The issue of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.

Teaching:

History of the People's Republic of China, with academic expertise in the history of water resources in contemporary China, economic history in contemporary China and the issue of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.

Academic Programs in China

In 2014, as the chief expert, presided over the major project of the national social science foundation "the history of water control in new China" (project no. : 14ZDB049), which is in progress.

In 2011, I presided over the general project of the national social science foundation, "research on farmland water conservancy construction during the great leap forward" (project no. : 11BDJ015), which was concluded.

Chaired by professor Zhu Hanguo in 2010 as chief of national social science fund project "contemporary Chinese social history" the third volume of "Chinese contemporary social life history" (project number: 10 & ZD077), is in progress.
